Hi, I’m Amy!

I know what it feels like to struggle with learning everything you need to move to Portugal, as I’ve done it myself.

I moved to Portugal in 2003, when much of Portugal was still offline. With 20 years of Portugal-living under my belt, I’ve navigated almost all of Portugal’s foreign resident experiences.

I know the ropes. From renting to buying to selling property; from being an employee to being self-employed; from culture shock to the thrill of being assumed a local; and all the stuff in-between that it takes to move and settle-in to Portugal: shipping your stuff, finances, mortgages, buying a car, choosing insurance, using the healthcare system (public and private), furnishing homes, taxes, starting a business, pet-ownership, learning the language, and making peace with Portugal’s bureaucracy.

Along the way, I met and built relationships with professionals and experts whom I could count on to give me the straight scoop, and deliver excellent service.
